About Leika Studio

Hi, I’m Camille, a nature and travel photographer based in Melbourne, Australia, and the creator of Leika Studio.

I have always been drawn to the emotions a photograph has the power to convey, and the way a single frame can shift your perspective, reveal hidden details and help you discover the wonders of the world. 

My love of travel began long before I ever picked up a camera. Raised in a family of travellers, as what is often called a Third Culture Kid, I spent my childhood moving between countries and cultures. Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to call seven countries home. From France and Japan to South Africa, Malaysia, Singapore, Argentina and now Australia, each place has shaped the way in which I see the world and has allowed me to develop a lifelong appreciation for the diversity of landscapes, cultures and wildlife that make our world so extraordinary.

Leika Studio brings together my three greatest passions: photography, nature and travel.

From the dramatic cliffs of Australia's coastline to the vast deserts of the American Southwest, every photograph in my collection was captured during my own travels. I do not create images with AI or use stock photography—every print represents a real place, a genuine moment, and an experience I was fortunate enough to witness.

Through my photography, I am on a mission to create fine art photography that brings a sense of calm, adventure, and a little of the world’s beauty into your home.

Why Leika Studio, you might be wondering? The name Leika was inspired by the idea of a kaleidoscope - a world filled with colour, light, patterns and perspectives. It reflects the essence of my work: capturing the beauty of the world around me, in all its richness, nuances and colours.
